Report Missed Previous Accident History

That immediately made me question how complete and reliable vehicle history reports actually are. I understand these services depend on available records, but buyers still expect major incidents to show up accurately. Now I’m dealing with repair concerns I specifically tried to avoid before buying the car. Has anyone else discovered missing accident history after using Carfax?

Buying a used car always feels risky to me because hidden accident history or mileage issues can turn a good deal into an expensive mistake very quickly. That’s why I started using Carfax reports whenever I seriously considered purchasing a vehicle from private sellers or smaller dealerships. The reports definitely provide useful background information, although they still don’t guarantee every detail about the car’s condition. Recently I browsed carfax reviews to see how other buyers felt about the accuracy and usefulness of the reports.
