Students are assigned a used car in need of repair. Students are required to repair the vehicle to industry standards for the purpose of donating it to a person in need. We have partnered with Youth Build which is a program that works with overaged high school students to help them get their diploma and then help them find a job.  Many jobs require a car.  The CFTH Project provides graduates from the program with a vehicle at little to no cost. One of the benefits from this project is that it is a real life learning experience.  It provides a "live shop" experience without the pressure and complexity of running a commercial automotive shop.  The clients who receive the cars greatly benefit from having reliable and affordable transportation.  By giving them access to the job that requires a car, this program could possibly be life changing.
